Paul Rosen Goes for the Grade
We’re proud to introduce our new student, Paul Rosen – 50, retired three-time Canadian Paralympian, sledge hockey gold medalist, motivational speaker and recent recipient of the prestigious March of Dimes Rick Hansen Award of Excellence.
After a life-altering hockey injury at the age of 15, Paul’s life has had its share of challenges, most notably the loss of his right leg in 1999. Having graduated from high school based on athletic rather than academic performance, Paul has always wanted to improve his literacy so that he can read from a teleprompter and sign autographs with ease.
Paul will spend this fall in Grade Learning’s classrooms rather than on the ice and will document and broadcast his educational journey on this blog and at www.facebook.com/gradelearning. “LIKE” our Facebook page and follow our blog to watch as Paul takes on the scariest challenge he’s ever faced: going back to school.
